Full Description

August 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A linear bank, of unknown but probably post medieval date, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). At its western end, it abuts a more extensive plantation bank, which is depicted on 19th and 20th century Ordnance Survey maps (such as S2; not mapped by the project). The bank described here, although not shown on the maps, is likely to be of broadly similar date.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 23rd August 2017.
