Summary

A possible mound of unknown date and origin, which is seemingly bisected by a modern forest ride, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey. It could perhaps be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, but it could instead be a hummock of modern or natural origin. There are possible traces of a ring ditch on its northern side.

January 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible mound of unknown date and origin, which is seemingly bisected by a modern forest ride, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey (S1). It could perhaps be the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, but it could instead be a hummock of modern or natural origin. There are possible traces of a ring ditch on its northern side.
