Full Description

A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building with a cross wing at the west end. Considerably altered. 2 storeys. The upper storey of the cross wing is jettied. 4 window range, C20 casements (2 of them rise to form sloping roofed dormers). The ground storey has C20 shop fronts. Roofs tiled,with an old central chimney stack (S1).

16th century timber-framed buildings consisting of no. 117-125. Nos. 117 & 119 are combined in one structure on the W-end of the block beside St. Helens Church (these used to be the associated vicarage). All have a similar appearance (S2).
