Please read our .

Summary

The earthworks of a rectangular enclosure and some associated boundaries of probable post medieval date, are clearly visible on aerial photographs and the 0.5m resolution Lidar data within the southeastern corner of the Elveden Warren (ELV 039). It seems likely that this enclosure is contemporary with the warren and was either used to grow and/or store and protect fodder crops or as stock enclosure. See also nearby enclosures (ELV 111-2).
