Monument record ELV 114 - Probable post medieval warren enclosure

Summary
The earthworks of a rectangular enclosure are clearly visible on the 0.5m resolution Lidar data within the eastern part of the Elveden Warren (ELV 039). It seems likely that this enclosure is contemporary with the warren and was either used to grow and protect fodder crops or as stock enclosure. See also nearby enclosures (ELV 111-113).

The earthworks of a rectangular enclosure are clearly visible on the 0.5m resolution Lidar data (S1) within the eastern part of the Elveden Warren (ELV 039). It seems likely that this enclosure is contemporary with the warren and was either used to grow and protect fodder crops or as stock enclosure. See also nearby enclosures (ELV 111-113).
