Full Description

A small 16th/17th century timber-framed and plastered house, now with a roughcast exterior, with a jettied upper storey (S1, S2). No 25 is part of a range of 17th century timber-framed and plastered houses with jettied upper storeys which included Nos 25 to 39 (odd) (S2).

The building has a well-framed but plain structure and is a very good example of a small town house in which a typical layout has been reduced in scale to fit urban conditions (S1).
