Full Description
December 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A possible mound is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs (S1) and on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S2). It could be a small Bronze Age round barrow, or a spoil heap from flint mining. Post medieval flint mines have been recorded to its west (SHER BRD 136), and other mounds have been identified nearby (SHER BRD 106 and BRD 133).
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 18th December 2017.
