Full Description

February 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Boundary banks of known or probable post medieval date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs (S1) and on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey (S2). They are partially depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map, and are all of probable post medieval date. They may relate to early plantations. On the aerial photographs they are visible as changes in the forest cover as much as they are as earthworks. Given the recent date of the lidar survey it is probable that the earthworks still survey.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 12th February 2018.
