Full Description

A 17th-18th century timber-framed and plastered building, altered in the 19th century and later - a small 19th century shop front on the ground floor, alterations to the fireplace, the addition of various single storey structures to the rear (S1)(S2). The interior of the building has plastered 'fleur-de-lys' decorations on the ceilings (S2). The reports of the building also mention the internal and external alterations carried out to convert the ground floor café into a shop with living accomodation (S1).
Structurally there is evidence of wattle and daub as well as timber-framing (visible beams) (S1).
