Full Description

16th century building which was refused permission for demolition due to its historical importance (originally the mansion of Sir Anthony Wingfield - Vice Chamberlain, Captain of the Guard and Privy Councillor for Henry VIII and Controller of the household under Edward VI (S1). Many alterations have been carried out to the buildings interior and exterior (S1).

Hand-drawn plans of the building show the interior structure and exterior shape of the building as well as highlighting notable features through annotation (S1).
