Full Description

The monitored area was in the vicinity of a medieval manor house and a country house of post-medieval date however the monitored footprint areas were small and shallow no trace of these were seen. It is likely that the later 19th century structure, The White House, will have caused extensive disturbance to the earlier remains. Red brick wall foundations and part of the cellar were visible, these have been left in situ beneath the new build (S1).
