One of the Medieval hermitages/anchorite cells in Suffolk, taken from the register of the Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds (S1) (S2). The exact location and details remain unknown.
The site's location is listed as 'Ikwrthe' - This probably refers to Ickworth (rather than Ixworth as suggested in S2) (S1) (S2).
