Full Description

One of the Medieval hermitages/anchorite cells in Suffolk, taken from the register of the Abbey of Bury St. Edmunds (S1) (S2). The site is listed as being at 'Wanteford' - possibly Wentford in Poslingford or Wangford? However, the exact location and details remain unknown.
