Full Description
archaeological monitoring at Westways identified an undated pit measuring 1.2m wide and 1.3m deep. A second 20th century pit was excavated to a depth of 1.5m and contained post medieval and modern pottery, along with brick and peg-tile fragments. These probably represent domestic waste associated with the properties fronting Hall Street (S1).
