Full Description

Grade II listed building. Lodge to Benacre Hall. Early-mid C19. Pale yellow brick, slated roof. Single storey. Symmetrical, with a front range facing the drive and 2 attached wings set back. 5-bay facade, 1:3:1, the bays divided by brick pilasters; the centre bays have a prostyle pedimented portico on 4 heavy stucco columns. Inset sash windows with slender glazing bars and raised wooden surrounds. 6-panel entrance door. Internal stack to front range and external stacks to rear wings (S1).

The landscape park had two lodges, one to the north and one to the south, from which long entrance drives led to the hall, shown on 1840 Tithe Map (S2). Shown on 1st edition OS map (S3).
