Full Description

A number of enclosures, pits and ditches visible on Google Earth images (Jul 2018). N- S linears are most likely Post-Medieval drains. However, there are a number of features, including enclosures of varying size and pits, in the northern part of the field which are likely to represent earlier occupation/settlement. Finds from the field suggest Roman, Saxon and Medieval activity in the area.
