Full Description
Evaluation revealed a single ditch spanning three trenches. It seems likely that this was an earlier roadside ditch that was allowed to infill naturally, probably when the course of Norwich Road (the A144) moved further to the west. Degraded animal bone was observed within one intervention in the ditch but it was too fragmented to recover (S1).
