Full Description

Roman coin hoard.
"Some men digging gravel above Levington Creek, near Ipswich river, discovered an urn containing some hundred coins of of Gordrun [sic], Maximus, Posthumus, and other emperors and empresses of that period" (Quoted from R3 in Robertson, A 2000, An Inventory of Romano-British Coin Hoards, no 509). Latest coin recorded is Postumus, AD 260-9.
Description suggests a location south or east of the village? Perhaps near LVT 084?
