Full Description

Church of St Mary: chancel, nave, round tower, S porch.
Tower has cusped lancet windows and flushwork at top. Chancel is C13 with lancet windows, none Perpendicular. Font base with volutes is Norman. Notes long and short work at NW angle. Church is isolated, beside R Waveney on a small sandy hillock surrounded by water meadows; approached by causewayed road, SYL 007 (S1).
1983: Three sherds Med pottery found in molehill in churchyard.
