Full Description

2020: Trenched evaluation was undertaken, associated with residential development. Occupational evidence probably spanning the period from the 12th/13th to 15th centuries was recorded during the evaluation in the form of domestic refuse pits and linear features. Uncommon and early evidence of the growing of asparagus was recorded. Included in the Proceedings of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History annual round up of individual finds and discoveries for 2020 (S1) (S2).
