Full Description
Small pit filled with black earth and with sherds of Rom pottery (grey ware) found in pipeline trench on field between Crown Inn and Kenton Corner. Sketch map of location in archive and Basil Brown notes that the pit could be seen in both faces of the pipeline trench. He was advised of find on 5/2/57 (S1).
