Full Description

Part cake of bronze, 'with this was a pair of bronze palstaves when first seen by Mr G Maynard. These, however, had disappeared by the time the cake was secured'. From "neighbourhood of Eye or Thornham" (?) obtained from Lord Henniker, Thornham Hall (S1).
N.B. Possibly should be Thorndon - LBA hoard.
