Full Description

2020: Archaeological evaluation revealed undated features including a large ditch and a smaller ditch which were perpendicular to the adjacent road, and a small pit. The ditches might represent a drainage feature dividing plots of land and leading westwards towards the flood plain of the nearby River Gipping. The evaluation indicates that the site has likely only seen general agricultural use in the past. (S1)
