Full Description

St Martin's Church.
Pottery sherds from churchyard - one Thetford type, two C13/C14 (S1).
Also watching brief on construction of new creche etc in location of old south porch. Area remarkably clear of med features or finds. 2 articulated skeletons were revealed as well as some previously disturbed human bone. One med pottery sherd and occasional peg tile fragments were also recovered. ( S2)
