Monument record COV 175 - Hull fragment from wreck, Covehithe beach (2021)

The timbers appear to be the outside of the hull and with the remains of sheathing. Assuming the sheathing is copper that most likely puts the vessel somewhere after the mid-18th century. If the sheathing is lead that makes this vessel extremely rare and dating to sometime around the late 17th century. There doesn't appear to be any copper pins holding the planks together so on the balance of probability that likely gives you a terminus post quem of around the mid 19th century.
