Full Description

Fragment of lava quern found when filling in a pond (S1). (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s) states that he constantly finds similar quern fragments with medieval pottery when levelling ponds which presumably were quarries for clay lump cottages.
