Full Description
[TM 1663 4051 - TM 1689 4052 - TM 1689 4058]
Earthworks, probably Md., possibly in association with Wherstead Old Hall.
The earthwork, site as given above, comprises a low, broad bank 6.0 - 8.0 m. wide, 0.3 - 0.7 m. high, with a ditch, on the uphill side, 5.0 m. wide, 0.3 m. deep. Several old trees, and some tree stumps, stand upon the bank at various points.
The feature differs little from existing field boundary banks which at several points impinge upon it; it may be safely assumed to be a further, ploughed-over old field bank and ditch
