Full Description
Cropmarks of a multiple linear feature can be seen on aerial photographs running from TL82986831 to TL83156852. The feature is 280 m long and 28 m wide and comprises at least 7 parallel ditches.
This feature follows the line of the boundary between the parishes of Fornham All Saints and Hengrave and is probably the result of prolonged use and recutting of this boundary line for field boundaries and trackways.
A level 3, photogrammetric survey of this site was carried out by the RCHME Air Photography Unit between November 1995 and February 1996.
