Full Description

An alien priory cell, Benedictine, founded before 1092-1100 and dissolved before 1230? Probably one or two monks originally; before 1291 came under control of Ogbourne St George Priory, Wiltshire, when it served merely as a grange. Granted to Eton College in 1460 (S1)(R1).
