Summary

The Snape Goods Railway opened in 1859 from Snape Junction on the East Suffolk Line, to Snape Harbour. A daily goods train, formed by the diversion of a pick-up service from the main line, with all shunting at Snape undertaken by horse, continued until 1960, when the line closed.
