Full Description
Evaluation revealed a small number of early roman ditches with moderate finds assemblages dating from the 1st to 3rd centuries. Overburden deposits with a depth of up to 0.8m were encountered that sealed both the dated and undated features recorded in the trenches, finds of Roman to post-medieval date were recovered from these layers.
