Full Description

Fluxgate gradiometer survey was successfully completed across the survey area. Both probable and possible archaeological activity have been identified within the west and centre of the survey area, with anomalies being idenitified ad interpreted as being possible ring ditches and enclosures. Agricultural anomalies including former field boundaries and modern ploughing were identified. Natural variations have been identified within the west and centre of the survey area as deposits of material, dissolution processes within the chalk bedrock and variations in the composition of superficial deposits (S1).
