Monks Hall is a timber framed house with plaster infill and is of two storeys with attics. It is mainly of 16th and 17th century date, but probably incorporates the frame of an earlier 15th century two bay hall house. In the centre there is a two storey bay with the initials AK and CK and the date 1614 carved on the window lintel.
