Full Description
An Anglo-Saxon 'ground-shaped' urn, 4 1/4" high, found at Redgrave (TM 0477) before 1853 was given to Norwich Museum (Acc No 44.25) by R Taylor. (1-2)
A large Anglo Saxon 'buckleurne' of coarse workmanship found at Redgrave (no date or exact location of find given) is decorated with five large bosses on the shoulder, between each of which are three stamped swastikas. Small circular depressions, containing a cross in relief, and plain cup-shaped hollows also decorate the urn. In Moyse's Hall Museum; Bury St Edmunds.
