Full Description

Late 18th or early 19th century single storey dwelling with an early to mid 20th century single storey and attic addition to the south. Historic fabric is contained only in the single storey range. The northern half of this range is built of brick and flint, the southern portion is timber framed. Originally thatched the dwelling was re-roofed with artificial slate in the 20th century. Internally some of the wall framing and roof members have been replaced. In the southern room is an inglenook fireplace, to the right of the fireplace there is a small copper and to the left a large bread oven. There are no historic fixtures and fittings in the 20th century addition The whole building has concrete render. The building was assessed for designation in 2011 but failed to meet the required criteria.
