Full Description

A thatched, timber framed cottage which probably dates to the eighteenth century. The original cottage is of one and a half storeys, but it has twentieth century single storey lean-to extensions added to three sides. There is a thatched porch in the centre of the front elevation. The original house is divided into two by a shared brick chimney wit two open fireplaces. The two halves are now connected by an opening to the west of the chimney where a bread oven has been removed. The original ground floor plan has been altered and much of the exposed timber framing dates from the twentieth century. None of the original doors or windows survive.
