Full Description
1804 wreck of English craft which stranded near Orfordness; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty
`The MARY of Sunderland, Clover, is on shore at Orfordness. Crew saved.' (2)
`The MARY, of Sunderland, - Clover, master, is on shore at Orford Ness. All hands safe.' (3)
NB: Source (1) expresses the date of loss as 06-NOV-1804, based on the issue date of source (2); however, source (3) gives a reporting date of three days earlier, i.e. 03-NOV-1804.
