1781 wreck of collier which was lost in the vicinity of Orfordness; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty
The first of "some" colliers lost near Orfordness during this storm:
`Extract of a letter from Yarmouth, Feb. 17. "A great deal of damage has been done here by the late wind...some colliers are lost off Orfordness..." ' (1)
