`Yarmouth, March 4th. Last night it came on to blow very hard from WNW accompanied with hail and rain, and it still continues to blow a gale...

`5th March. The effects of yesterday's gale, it is supposed, were very extensive...A vessel name unknown, upset off Kessingland, & it is feared the crew drowned.' (1)
