`...with malt from Wells for Rotterdam, is wrecked near Leostoffe, but the crew are saved.' (2)

`Yarmouth, October 28. In the hard gale of wind on Tuesday night...

`The ANN AND FRANCIS, of Wells, Edmond Wabon, master, with malt for Rotterdam, is ashore, and wrecked at Lowestoft, but the men are saved.' (5)

There are two entries for this vessel in the United Kingdom Shipwreck Index, Suffolk (CB) giving the place of loss as Lowestoft, and Norfolk (CC) giving the place of loss as `on the coast of Norfolk.' Both express the date of loss as the LL reporting date of 05-NOV-1762.
