Full Description
Conservative Club constructed in thee phases between 1863 to 1887/90 and adjoined Victoria Hall. The earliest part of the conservative club is located in the East end of the building. The central part was constructed between 1863 and 1884 with the west end wing constructed after Victoria Hall between 1887 and C.1890. The building has fretted bargeboards, two oriel windows and a substantial ground floor bay with the north, South and West elevations in Suffolk White brick, and the East and north in red brickwork. 20th century alterations to the building resulted in little of the original internal features to survive, with the ground and first floor layers being much altered. (S1).
