Full Description
Archaeological evluation identified four undated field boundaries. All the ditches had similar alignments, which corresponded to the north to south gradient of the topography. Ditch 307 aligned with an extant ditch situated to the north-west of the feature. This extant ditch is depicted on historic mapping from 1880’s, and ditch 307 might be a continuation of the same boundary or field system (S1).
