Full Description

Mill mound mapped by OS on 1:10000 map, but not on old 1:10560 map (S1)(S2). Enlargement for District Council development plan seems to indicate an entrance on the W side.

A mound on level ground at present under pasture. It measures overall 35.0m in diameter by 0.7m high with the ditch 0.4m deep. No ground disturbance was evident in the centre of the mound. Probably a mill mound, but no local or Tithe Map information. Surveyed at 1:2500
