Full Description
Earthworks. Basil Brown makes reference to "probable Roman Camp near Post Office" and gives a sketch of the area and "camp" in this case probably refers to earthworks as it does elsewhere in his work (S1). Basil quotes G B Barham, "considerable remains of the ramparts on S and SW sides ... are still visible" (R1). ?Same as `....minor works..... at .... Sicklesmere', (S2)(R2).
