Full Description

Despite the archaeological potential of the site, the only archaeological features encountered by the evaluation were two adjacent pits in Trench 9, one of which contained three sherds of 12th-century pottery, a piece of fired clay and a burnt flint. Modern ground disturbance was also noted in three trenches in the northern part of the site (S1).
