Full Description

Former site of the Cavendish parish workhouse. Said that extant listed building (National Ref. 1285885) was previously used as the workhouse but there are also reports that the workhouse was adjacent to the west and was demolished and replaced with new building. Mapping reflects both possible locations. Could accommodate up to 30 inmates. (S1)
