Full Description
Site of the Metfield Airfield Site.No1. The site comprised of Officers Mess, Officers Quarters, Sergeants Mess, Sergeants Quarters, Airmens Quarters, Officer's Ablutions & Latrines, Sergeants and Airmen's Ablutions & Decontamination, Airmen's latrines, Sergeants Latrines, Picket Post, Emergency Water System Tank, and air raid shelters. This was recorded as part of the Eighth in the East Project (S1,S2).
