Site of the Metfield Airfield Site.WAAF Site No 1, Metfield. The site comprised of Officers Quarters and mess, Sergeants Quarters, Airwomen's Quarters, Officer's Ablutions & Latrines, Sergeants andAirwomen's Ablutions, Latrine and Laundry, Sergeants and Airwomen's bath, Institute and Sergrant Recreation Room, , Sergeants Latrines, Picket Post, Sick quarters, air raid shelters. This was recorded as part of the Eighth in the East Project (S1,S2).
