Full Description
Site of the Metfield Airfield Site. WAAF Site No 2, Metfield. The site comprised of Sergeants Quarters, Airwomen's Quarters, Sergeants and Airwomen's Ablutions, Latrines and Drying Room , Picket Post, and air raid shelters. This was recorded as part of the Eighth in the East Project (S1,S2).
