Full Description
2026: The geophysical survey has detected several magnetic anomalies and disturbances related to post-medieval agricultural activities. Ridge and furrow cultivation has been recorded along with former field boundaries, modern ploughing, and field drains. Magnetic disturbance, around the periphery of the fields is due to the proximity of the adjacent roads. Uncertain anomalies within the dataset are likely to have an agricultural origin although a differing natural or anthropogenic origin is also possible. Based on the results of the geophysical survey, the archaeological potential of the Site is deemed to be low (S1).
